Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Order Processor to join a growing uPVC windows and doors company in Kent. You will manage orders from survey through manufacture, interpreting technical drawings and survey data, and ensuring on-time delivery.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication with customers and internal teams, and the ability to prioritise multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. Full-time, permanent position based in Kent.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Order Processor or similar within fenestration.
• Strong knowledge of uPVC windows and doors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and survey information.
• Experience reviewing site surveys and manufacturing specifications.
• Experience processing orders in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately using industry-specific software and internal systems.
• Review survey information and technical drawings to ensure manufacturing accuracy.
• Interpret window and door specifications, dimensions, and product configurations.
• Ensure all orders are entered correctly and meet customer requirements before production.
• Liaise with surveyors, production, installation teams, and customers regarding order progress.
• Resolve technical queries and identify discrepancies prior to manufacture.
• Amend and update orders where required following survey changes.
• Work closely with purchasing and production teams to ensure materials are available.
• Monitor order progress and communicate updates to customers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate order documentation and records.
• Provide technical and order-related support to the sales team.
• Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the order process.
