With a strong pipeline of wind and hydrogen initiatives, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of green energy. The company values collaboration and offers a supportive culture where you can develop your skills and contribute to meaningful projects. Would you like to be at the forefront of building our in house greenfield portfolio of wind, solar, BESS and hydrogen projects? Then come and join us!
European Energy is a green energy company experiencing exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate wind and solar PV projects globally and are at the forefront of the emerging green Hydrogen/Power-to-X sectors. Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: In it together, Trust and Courage, Ambition, Excitement, Inclusion, and Agility.
Your New Team
You will be joining European Energy UK Limited, consisting of 21 colleagues working principally from our office in Glasgow. We are a committed and motivated team where knowledge sharing, trust, and open dialogues describe the very core of our collaboration. You will have various interfaces with the other teams in the business, have numerous opportunities to define your role, and grow as a professional.
Your New Role
European Energy has been focused on the development of utility scale solar projects in the UK to date. Now with a strong pipeline of projects to build over the coming 3-5 years, we would like to significantly expand our wind and hydrogen activities. This creates an opportunity to join European Energy UK Limited as a Wind and Solar Development Manager reporting directly to the company’s Development Director. You will have a broad and varied range of responsibilities, from supporting our origination and grid managers to securing new opportunities, to leading project development activities for a range of technologies through to the ready-to-build (RTB) stage.
We see projects through, and after consent has been achieved, your role will encompass planning condition discharge, identifying project risks and supporting our in-house Engineering and Construction teams during the pre-construction and construction phases to ensure that projects are delivered according to planning consent until successful handover to our Asset Management team.
The ideal candidate will have a track record in UK-based renewable energy project development and be able to manage stakeholders, driving forward all development activity and successfully navigating the consenting phase.
