Position Reporting To

Service Sales Manager


Your Role and Responsibilities

The ABB Electrification Service division has expanded its portfolio with a new advisory service product line, comprising four offering pillars. The goal is to advise customers on making their operations safer, more reliable, and sustainable, fostering long-term relationships. You will target and build relationships with end users and national accounts across London and Southern UK, collaborating with the service sales manager and regional specialists. Your responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, generating new sales opportunities, and selling the entire Electrification service portfolio, focusing on onboarding new accounts and delivering profitable projects. This is a remote role contributing to the Electrification service sales team in London and Southeast England, primarily engaging with end users.


Main responsibilities include:

  1. Generating service sales leads and exploring new market opportunities through market trend analysis and potential service portfolios.
  2. Growing the number of service level agreements by developing new accounts.
  3. Promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions to benefit customers and ABB.
  4. Representing ABB's service products during marketing activities such as campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.

Qualifications
  • Experience in the Electrification Industry and supporting solutions in commercial and industrial markets, including sectors like Food and Beverage, Utilities, Power Stations, Data Centres, Petrochemical, among others.
  • Proven sales and marketing experience within Electrification or similar industries.
  • Background in sales, marketing, and communications.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • UK full clean driving license.
