Job summary

NES Fircroft, London, is seeking a Contract Advisor for an initial 12-month period. The role is hybrid, requiring at least three days in the office weekly and outside IR35 basis.

A law degree and proven experience in contract management within wind offshore projects are preferred, with strong knowledge of LOGIC, FIDIC, and Incoterms. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contractual documents, managing risk, coordinating resources, and supporting loan negotiations and guarantees.

Qualifications

• Law degree (or similar) with proven contract management experience in wind offshore projects.
• Strong legal expertise including LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms, and both common and civil law with a focus on contract law.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate contract management activities ensuring that all aspects of the contract are correctly addressed.
• Review and draft contractual documents and define clauses with clients, partners and sub-contractors/suppliers; participate in negotiations.
• Identify appropriate contractual solutions and contribute to defining the optimal risk profile reflected in documents.
• Manage resources involved in contract management activities; develop professional competences and career paths; identify staffing needs.
• Ensure the flow-down and transfer of contractual risk from client contracts to purchase orders and supplier agreements; identify provisions to transfer to passive contracts.
• Provide contractual support for negotiation of loans, bank sureties, guarantees, and indemnity letters.
• Contribute to the Legal function for preliminary activities of litigations and support during subsequent phases.
