Job summary

NES Fircroft in London is supporting an energy client with a 12-month Contract Advisor role. This hybrid position requires a minimum of three days per week in the office and is offered on an outside IR35 basis.

The ideal candidate will hold a law degree (or equivalent) and have proven experience in contract management, especially in the commercial phase for wind offshore projects, with strong expertise in LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms and both common and civil law systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a law degree (or equivalent) with proven experience in contract management.
• Experience in commercial phase for wind offshore projects is desirable.
• Strong legal expertise including LOGIC, FIDIC, Incoterms, and civil/common law systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage contract management activities across contracts with clients, partners and subcontractors.
• Review and draft contractual documents and define appropriate clauses in negotiations.
• Identify optimal risk profiles and ensure risk transfer flows to related contracts and purchase orders.
• Oversee resources involved in contract management and support staff career development.
• Provide contractual support for loan negotiations, bank sureties, guarantees and indemnities.
• Support litigation activities in early stages and assist through subsequent phases.
