Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Caldicot. The role is full-time, long-term and starts ASAP, supporting Early Years learners with Welsh-language activities.

The successful candidate will speak fluent Welsh, have experience with children in educational settings, and work closely with teachers to foster confidence and learning progress in young pupils.

Job Title: Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant

Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Caldicot that is looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant within its Early Years provision. The school is seeking a positive and supportive individual who can use their Welsh language skills to help create an engaging learning environment for young children.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will support children throughout the Early Years, assisting with classroom activities, encouraging engagement and providing general support to help pupils progress with their learning and development.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• The ability to speak Welsh fluently
• Experience working with children in an educational or Early Years setting
• A good understanding of supporting young children's learning and development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient and caring approach
• An enthusiastic and adaptable attitude
