Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Caldicot. The role is full-time, long-term and starts ASAP, supporting Early Years learners with Welsh-language activities.

The successful candidate will speak fluent Welsh, have experience with children in educational settings, and work closely with teachers to foster confidence and learning progress in young pupils.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Welsh to support young learners.
• Experience with children in educational settings, preferably Early Years.
• Patient, adaptable and collaborative with staff and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support children throughout the Early Years, assisting with activities.
• Encourage engagement and help pupils develop confidence and independence.
• Work as part of a team to create an engaging learning environment.
