Job summary

Teaching Personnel is searching for a passionate Welsh-medium KS2 Teacher to join a Cardiff primary school. You will plan and deliver Welsh-language lessons for ages 7-11 and foster an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.

Qualified teachers with QTS or equivalent are invited to apply. Fluent Welsh, strong classroom management, and the ability to differentiate lessons are essential. ECTs are welcome, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Fluent Welsh speaker with strong written and spoken Welsh.
• Experience teaching within a primary school environment.
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Welsh-medium KS2 lessons across the curriculum.
• Teach pupils aged 7-11 and adapt lessons to meet varying abilities.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
• Promote the Welsh language throughout the school day.
