Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher for a Welsh-medium school in Carmarthen. The role starts in September and requires delivering lessons through Welsh across the Primary phase, with strong classroom management and Welsh language proficiency.

The successful candidate will support pupils, work closely with colleagues, and contribute to high learning outcomes in a welcoming Welsh-medium environment. QTS is required; NQTs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Salary: £172.98 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons through the medium of Welsh, support pupils across the Primary phase, and work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent learning outcomes.

The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Fluency in spoken and written first language Welsh
• Any additional relevant qualifications are desirable
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
