Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher for a long-term, full-time post in a mainstream Welsh-medium primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons in both Welsh and English and support pupils to build confidence.

The ideal candidate holds QTS (NQTs welcome), has strong classroom management, and excellent communication with staff, pupils and parents.

Qualifications

• QTS required or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) welcome to apply.
• Confidence teaching through both Welsh and English medium.
• Knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Positive and adaptable approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons through Welsh and English.
• Confidently teach through Welsh and English medium.
• Manage the classroom effectively and support pupil learning.
