Job summary

TeacherActive in Carmarthen is seeking a Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher to join on a long-term basis from September. You will deliver lessons through Welsh, support pupils across the Primary phase, and work with colleagues to raise attainment.

The ideal candidate holds QTS (NQTs encouraged), has UK primary experience, and demonstrates strong Welsh language skills and classroom management to create an engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in written and spoken Welsh
• QTS or eligible to teach in the UK
• Experience teaching in a UK primary setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Welsh-medium lessons across the Primary phase
• Support pupils to achieve learning outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent attainment and progression

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher on a long-term basis starting in September. The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons through the medium of Welsh, support pupils across the Primary phase, and work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent learning outcomes.

The successful Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Fluency in spoken and written first language Welsh
• Any additional relevant qualifications are desirable
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
