Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher for a mainstream Welsh-medium primary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. The role is long-term with an immediate start, teaching across KS1 in Welsh-medium settings and supporting pupils in English when needed.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (NQTs welcome), be fluent in Welsh, and demonstrate excellent classroom management and an engaging approach to guiding pupil learning.

Qualifications

• QTS (NQTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Fluency in Welsh
• Primary teaching experience
• Experience teaching or supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A confident and engaging approach to guiding pupils learning

Responsibilities

• The Welsh Speaking Primary Teacher will teach across Key Stage 1 in a Welsh-medium setting.
• Teach Welsh-medium lessons and provide English language support when required.
• Contribute to creating a positive learning environment and strong pupil wellbeing.
