Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Swansea is seeking a Welsh Language Policy Translator & Advisor to support the Welsh language obligations across the organisation. Responsibilities

• Communicate bilingually, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate documents from Welsh to English and from English to Welsh for customers and business areas.
• Proofread own and colleagues’ translations, ensuring quality and deadlines are met.
• Provide advice and guidance on bilingual services across the organisation.
• Monitor compliance with Welsh language requirements and advise on legislative obligations.
• Coordinate responses to complaints and issues relating to bilingual services.
• Coordinate internal and external activities that promote the Welsh language and bilingual services.
