Job summary

Holland & Barrett is seeking a Retail Assistant for a 9-month fixed-term contract (16 hours per week) in Banbury. You’ll welcome customers, advise on wellness products, keep displays tidy, and support promotions while delivering excellent service.

You’ll join a supportive team, receive training, and enjoy employee benefits after six months, including a health and wellbeing-focused program and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable style.
• Curiosity about health and wellness, with a willingness to learn.
• The ability to stay organised, work as part of a team and adapt in a busy retail environment.
• Confidence using technology, including tablets and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and helping them find the right products for their wellness goals.
• Recommending products and solutions with confidence while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and merchandising displays to a high standard.
• Supporting promotions, maintaining store presentation and ensuring excellent operational standards.
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals and create a positive shopping experience.
• Use a consultative approach to understand customers' needs and recommend products, whether in store or online.
• Completing our Qualified to Advise training to build your product knowledge and provide trusted guidance.
