Job summary

Holland & Barrett in Banbury is hiring a part-time Retail Assistant on a 9-month fixed-term contract, 16 hours per week. You will welcome customers, help them choose wellbeing products and support store presentation.

You'll work with the team to deliver excellent service, operate tablets and digital tools, and contribute to promotions while maintaining high standards. The role offers training and a friendly, active environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable style.
• Curiosity about health and wellness, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to stay organised, work as part of a team and adapt in a busy retail environment.
• Confidence using technology, including tablets and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and helping them find the right products for their individual wellbeing goals.
• Recommending products and solutions with confidence while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and merchandising displays to a high standard.
• Supporting promotions, maintaining store presentation and ensuring excellent operational standards.
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals and create a positive shopping experience.
• Using a consultative approach to understand customers' needs and recommend products, in-store or online.
• Completing our Qualified to Advise training to build product knowledge and provide trusted guidance.
