Job summary

Champneys is a prestigious luxury wellness brand focused on wellbeing in every aspect of the guest journey. As Chef de Partie, you will own your section and work with a senior kitchen team to develop technical and leadership skills, while mentoring junior chefs in wellness-focused cuisine.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume culinary environments is desirable.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Knowledge of wellness-led and nutritious cuisine is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and presenting dishes to Champneys standards with consistency and creativity.
• Taking responsibility for your section and coaching junior Chefs.
• Working with senior chefs to continually improve standards and kitchen performance.
• Developing understanding of dietary requirements, allergens and ingredients.
• Building knowledge of the nutritional value and wellness focus of our menus.
• Maintaining a hygienic, well-organised working environment.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen, Front of House and resort teams.
• Supporting cost control through stock use and budget awareness.
• Assisting Front of House colleagues with menu knowledge and guest interaction.
• Responding confidently to guest queries to enhance the guest experience.
