Qualifications

• Experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
• Able to work well in a team and under pressure.
• Willingness to develop culinary skills across sections.
• Commitment to producing high-quality dishes consistently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality hot and cold dishes to Champneys standards.
• Support kitchen team across service periods for smooth operation.
• Work with senior chefs to develop skills across sections.
• Assist with development of new dishes and menu ideas.
• Support and mentor junior chefs and trainees.
• Maintain highest standards of food hygiene and safety.
• Follow HACCP procedures and complete kitchen records accurately.
• Deliver excellent guest interactions in guest-facing areas.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
