Job summary

Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is seeking a Wellness Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day reception operations of our spa, gym, Nobu Pilates studios and wellness facilities. This leadership role combines operational precision with a passion for wellbeing, driving service excellence and revenue growth in one of London’s premier luxury hotels.

You will lead the wellness team, manage rotas, performance reviews and recruitment in collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in wellness or luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the wellness team, fostering a motivated and high-performing culture.
• Manage departmental operations, including rotas, annual leave and compliance.
• Conduct performance reviews, appraisals and ongoing staff training.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and team development in collaboration with HR.
• Ensure wellness brand standards and SOPs are implemented and maintained.
• Manage stock control, ordering and financial processes including banking and reconciliations.
• Coordinate wellness events, brand activations and VIP experiences.
• Monitor spa, gym and Nobu Pilates equipment, ensuring timely maintenance and reporting.
• Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and care.
• Drive retail operations and revenue through product knowledge and upselling.
• Oversee booking systems (Mindbody, Opera) to optimise scheduling and guest experience.
• Provide regular performance reports and updates to senior leadership.
• Act as an ambassador for Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile and Kokoro in every interaction
