Job summary

MHA is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator (Relief) at Fitzwarren House, Swindon. You will design, plan and deliver engaging activities that meet residents' social, physical and emotional needs, helping them stay connected and fulfilled.

Join a supportive team committed to high standards of care. You will work flexibly, collaborate with families, volunteers and local groups, keep records, and follow safeguarding and health and safety policies while developing skills.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for improving residents' lives through meaningful engagement.
• Ability to design and deliver both group and individual activities.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Confidence to use IT tools and support residents in using them.
• Willingness to work flexibly as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deliver a programme of activities based on residents' needs.
• Promote wellbeing through engaging, inclusive activities.
• Support residents in accessing IT options to stay connected.
• Liaise with staff, relatives, volunteers and community groups.
• Keep accurate records of activities, attendance and outcomes.
