Job summary

Amberley Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator in Sale to enrich daily life with person-centred activities for residents. The role focuses on meaningful engagement and social interaction, including dementia-friendly programming.

You will plan group and one-to-one activities, tailor plans to individual interests, and build strong relationships with residents, families and the care team. Training is provided, and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or similar role is beneficial.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to individuals.
• Training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities that promote wellbeing.
• Plan and run a varied programme of group and 1:1 activities.
• Build relationships to understand preferences and support inclusive participation.
• Work as part of the wider team to create a positive, stimulating environment.
• Work alternate weekends.
