Job summary

Amberley Care Home in Sale is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities. You will tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs, building relationships to support inclusive participation for residents, including those living with dementia.

From the outset, you will work as part of a wider team to create a positive, stimulating environment where residents feel valued, active and connected.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities or similar role is beneficial.
• Willingness to undergo training and develop in role.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities.
• Tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs.
• Build relationships to understand preferences and promote inclusive participation.
• Collaborate with the wider team to create a positive, stimulating environment.
• Available to work alternate weekends.
