Job summary

Amberley Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking an Activities Coordinator in Sale to enrich daily life with person-centred activities for residents. The role focuses on meaningful engagement and social interaction, including dementia-friendly programming.

You will plan group and one-to-one activities, tailor plans to individual interests, and build strong relationships with residents, families and the care team. Training is provided, and weekend work is required.

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to individuals.
• Training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

Our luxury care home is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, offering Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 72-residents.

Activities Coordinator Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.

The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
