Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Loxley Park Care Home in Sheffield. You will design engaging activities to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing, while upholding privacy, dignity, and independence.

You will plan monthly activity and wellbeing programs, coordinate weekly overviews, and foster collaboration with staff, families, and visitors to enhance the home’s quality of life. DBS clearance and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience organising activities and events.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
• A positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating activities.

Responsibilities

• Identifying life history, needs, and preferences of residents to support life story development.
• Planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plan and weekly overview to Home Manager.
• Arranging activities, events, and outings with staff, relatives, and visitors.
• Maintaining a safe living and working environment and contributing to a positive image of the home.
