Job summary

Bearehill Care Home in Brechin is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities for residents, including those living with dementia.

You will plan engaging activities, build strong relationships with residents and the wider team, and ensure activities promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Creative, organised and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs.
• Build strong relationships to understand preferences and promote inclusive participation.
• Work as part of the wider team to create a positive and stimulating environment for residents.
