Job summary

Etive House Care Home in a rural Oban area seeks an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities. You will tailor activities to individual interests, abilities and care needs, building relationships to support inclusive participation for residents, including those living with dementia.

Working with the wider team, you will contribute to a positive, stimulating environment where residents feel valued, active and connected, with training provided

Qualifications

• Creative, organized and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in activities or similar role is beneficial; transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work encouraged to apply.
