Caron Group in Wales is seeking a Wellbeing/Activities Support to enrich residents' lives across our care homes. You will assist the Wellbeing Lead to plan and run meaningful activities and a lifestyle programme, helping residents stay engaged and supported with dignity.

You will build partnerships with the local community, arrange events, accompany residents on outings, and promote wellbeing among staff, while maintaining a safe, respectful home where every resident matters.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults), Wales and Northern Ireland.
• Minimum 3 years' experience and passion for care of the elderly.
• Ability to relate to and care for older people in a sensitive, dignified and respectful manner.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar activities / lifestyle role within a care facility.

Responsabilités

• Assist Wellbeing Lead to create and organise meaningful activities and a lifestyle programme throughout the home.
• Produce and update an activity planner for the home, within budget.
• Organise events within the Home (birthdays, school visits, choirs, themed days).
• Develop partnerships in the local community and liaise with third parties for activities.
• Get to know residents and families to tailor activities (About Me Book).
• Accompany residents on outings and arrange transport with safety considerations.
• Promote wellbeing practices to staff and support a respectful, dignified environment.
