Job summary

Chetwynd House Care Home is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance residents' wellbeing through engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and 1-to-1 activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, working closely with residents, families and colleagues to encourage participation.

You will ensure activities are delivered safely, following health and safety procedures, and maintain accurate activity records.

Qualifications

• Creativity, enthusiasm and organisational ability are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Ability to plan and deliver group and 1-to-1 activities tailored to residents.
• Understanding of person-centred care and promoting dignity and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of activities for residents.
