Job summary

A leading company in the UK is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors for short-term projects. Inspectors will conduct inspections, prepare reports, and communicate with clients. Applicants must have CSWIP or AWS certifications and significant inspection experience, with the ability to invoice for services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of inspection experience.
• Experience in similar fabrication inspections.
• Ability to understand international standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections for vent hatches, hot stabs, and accessories.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Liaise with clients as needed.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
