Job summary

Burnley College is seeking a Lecturer in Engineering (Welding) to promote and provide an excellent learning experience, ensuring high achievement for all students. You will teach across Engineering programmes, plan and evaluate teaching, and support students through assessment and pastoral guidance.

You will contribute to curriculum development and work as part of the College team to share best practices and deliver first-class Further Education and related programmes.

Responsibilities

• Teach effectively across a range of Engineering programmes.
• Plan and evaluate your teaching to ensure high achievement and progression for all students.
• Accurately assess and monitor student work, provide effective tutorials and pastoral support.
• Contribute to divisional and College teams by sharing best practice and supporting curriculum development.
