Job summary

SeAH Wind is seeking an experienced Welder to join the Production team in Middlesbrough. You will fabricate large-scale offshore wind monopiles, performing skilled welding to FCAW, MCAW and SAW processes, ensuring safety, quality and production standards are met.

You will work from engineering drawings, conduct quality checks, and report issues while supporting continuous improvement in a state-of-the-art facility. The role is full-time with pension and Medicash healthcare.

Qualifications

• Time-served Welder with FCAW, MCAW and/or SAW experience.
• Current EN ISO 9606-1 welding certification or ability to obtain/revalidate.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment and conducting quality checks.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and production targets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding activities using FCAW, MCAW and SAW processes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Inspect, prepare and weld components in accordance with approved procedures.
• Perform quality control checks using measuring equipment and visual inspection techniques.
• Operate grinding equipment and workshop tools safely and effectively.
• Support production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Report equipment faults, quality concerns and safety issues promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
