Job summary

MIG/TIG Welder required in Wirral for a manufacturing client. Temp to perm opportunity with pay rate of £19 per hour. Monday to Friday, 7am to 16:30pm (early finish on Friday). Experience welding on heavy steel structures essential, with ability to read engineering drawings and perform quality checks.

Role includes welding, fabrication, machine shop support, cutting, drilling, grinding and general labouring while upholding health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Able to weld on heavy steel structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Quality checks on finished products during fabrication.

Search recruitment are looking for an experienced welder/fabricator to join our industry leading manufacturing client based in Bromborough. The successful candidate must have Mig and Tig welding experience and be able to weld on heavy steel structures. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a business that continues to grow. Duties of this role will include:

Welding and Fabricating
Welding on Heavy Steel
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Quality checks on finished product
Supporting in the machine shop where necessary
Cutting and drilling
Grinding and polishing
General labouring around the factory.
Adhering to all health and safety while on site.The successful welder must:

Be hardworking
Be experienced welding on structural steel
Be comfortable working on their own
