Job summary

MIG/TIG Welder required in Wirral for a manufacturing client. Temp to perm opportunity with pay rate of £19 per hour. Monday to Friday, 7am to 16:30pm (early finish on Friday). Experience welding on heavy steel structures essential, with ability to read engineering drawings and perform quality checks.

Role includes welding, fabrication, machine shop support, cutting, drilling, grinding and general labouring while upholding health and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Able to weld on heavy steel structures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Quality checks on finished products during fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Welding and Fabricating on heavy steel structures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Quality checks on finished products.
• Support in the machine shop where necessary.
• Cutting and drilling, grinding and polishing.
• General labouring and adherence to health and safety on site.
