Job summary

Recruit4staff LTD is representing a leading commercial vehicle repair and body shop business recruiting a Fabricator Welder to work in Bromborough. The role involves TIG welding sheet metal and aluminium, fabricating and fitting panels, and repairing plant equipment and trailers in a busy workshop.

Annual pay is competitive for a skilled welder with experience in aluminium, with regular overtime and permanent, full-time hours. Commutable from Wirral, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Bromborough, Deeside.

Qualifications

• Skilled in welding a range of metals, including aluminium.
• Previous fabrication and fitting experience.
• Proven experience working as a Fabricator Welder or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• TIG weld sheet metal and aluminium to high standards.
• Fabricate and fit panels for plant equipment and trailers.
• Carry out repair work on plant equipment and machinery in a busy workshop.

Job Details:

• Pay: £15.50 - £18.50 per hour (Depending on experience)
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Free parking, regular overtime available, standard pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Job Role: As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for TIG welding sheet metal and aluminium, fabricating and fitting panels, and carrying out repair work on plant equipment, machinery, and commercial vehicle trailers. The role requires a hands-on Fabricator Welder who can work to high standards within a busy workshop environment.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Skilled in welding a range of metals, including aluminium
• Previous fabrication and fitting experience
• Proven experience working as a Fabricator Welder or in a similar role

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Level 2 or higher recognised welding and fabrication qualification would be beneficial for a Fabricator Welder
