Elix Sourcing Solutions in Taunton seeks a Welder/Fabricator to read technical drawings, fabricate and MIG weld architectural steel components, and contribute to bespoke projects. The role offers a salary of £31,000–£35,000 with an uncapped OTE around £40,000, plus early finish Friday, overtime, training and company benefits.

Hours are Mon-Thu 8:00–16:30, Fri 8:00–16:00. Commutable from Bridgewater, Wellington, Chard and Ilminster; applicants must have a valid UK work permit and be able to work

Location: Taunton (commutable from Bridgewater, Wellington, Chard, Ilminster)

This role is open with an established manufacturer of steel architectural products. The successful candidate will fabricate bespoke projects on technical diagrams and weld metal components for a variety of architectural features.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Fabricate and weld metal components using MIG welding techniques.
• Work as part of the production team to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in overtime sessions to boost earnings.

Qualifications

• Background in MIG welding.
• Experience in fabrication of architectural steel products is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday 8:00‑4:30.
• Friday 8:00‑4:00.
