Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder for a role in Droitwich. You will fabricate and MIG weld heavy-gauge steel up to 20mm using drawings and specifications to meet high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Welder/Fabricator experience; 1.2mm wire and cutting knowledge are advantageous. 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, day shifts; overtime available and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience as Welder/Fabricator.
• Experience with commercial vehicles is desirable.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder for an established company in Droitwich.

As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and MIG welding heavy-gauge steel (up to 20mm) to a high standard. You will work from detailed engineering drawings and specifications to ensure all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have experience using 1.2mm welding wire when working on large, heavy equipment. Experience with plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting and manual press brake operations would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and MIG weld heavy-gauge steel components
• Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings
• Manufacture products in line with company specifications and quality standards

Experience

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Welder/Fabricator (essential)
• Minimum 2 years experience working with commercial vehicles (desired)

Pay and Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 - £17.50 per hour, dependent on experience and trade test
