Job summary

Adecco Worcester is seeking a Welder/Fabricator in Pershore for a permanent role within a busy engineering workshop. You will perform a mix of batch production welding and bespoke fabrication, joining components to high standards.

Key duties include MIG and TIG welding, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring quality control. Benefits include a 4-day week with Fridays off and an immediate start where possible.

Qualifications

Welder/Fabricator

Location: Pershore
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for a fresh challenge with a better work-life balance?

We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to join our clients busy engineering workshop on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a close-knit team, carrying out a mix of batch production welding and bespoke one-off fabrication projects.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday
07:00 - 17:15
39 hours per week
30-minute lunch break
Two paid 10-minute breaks (morning and afternoon)

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding
• Fabrication of components and assemblies

• Bespoke, one-off fabrication projects

• Ensuring high standards of workmanship and quality control

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Previous fabrication experience
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work
• Full driving licence and access to your own transport (essential for candidates living outside Pershore)

Desirable Skills

• Experience welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Experience in both batch production and bespoke fabrication environments
