Job summary

Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Heavy Fabricator/Welder to join our client in Droitwich Spa. You will fabricate and MIG weld heavy components up to 20mm gauge, interpreting drawings and following specifications to maintain high quality standards.

The role requires experience with commercial vehicles, 4 years welding/fabrication and the ability to use 1.2 mm welding wire. Oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Welder/Fabricator: 4 years (required).
• Experience with commercial vehicles: 2 years (required).
• Able to interpret detailed drawings and follow specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and MIG weld to a high standard on heavy equipment.
• Interpret drawings and follow specifications for manufacturing.
• Operate plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting and press brake as needed.

Fabricator Welder Fitter

Location: Droitwich Spa

Salary: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour negotiable

Full time: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:30 - 16:00

The Role:

As a Heavy Fabricator/Welder you will be required to fabricate/MIG weld to a high standard (heavy up to 20mm gauge). You must have experience in using 1.2 mm wire for welding large and heavy equipment. You will be interpreting detailed drawings and follow set specifications to ensure the company's products are manufactured to the highest standards. Ideally you will have experience in plasma cutting, oxy acetylene cutting and manual press brake operations.

Experience:

• Welder/Fabricator: 4 years (required)
• working with commercial vehicles: 2 years (required)
