Job summary

Tandem Recruitment Group Ltd in Daventry is seeking a reliable Welder Fabricator to join a manufacturing team on a permanent basis. The role involves MIG welding of steel fabrications such as fuel tanks, base frames and other components, reading technical drawings and maintaining quality standards.

You will work in a busy workshop, carry out fabrication, repair and finishing work, inspect finished parts and keep the workspace safe and organised.

Qualifications

• Mig welding experience (required).
• Able to read technical drawings (required).
• Forklift driver/operator certification (required).
• Good eye for detail.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a team.

BASIC SALARY: £17 per hour

Our client is looking for a reliable, hard working and experienced Welder Fabricator to join their manufacturing team on a permanent basis.

Your responsibilities as a Welder Fabricator:

• Mig Welding of steel fabrications such as fuel tanks, base frames and miscellaneous parts to do with production.
• Carrying out fabrication, repair and finishing work where required
• Read technical drawings to accurately weld and fabricate parts and components
• General workshop duties as required
• Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

To be successful as a Welder Fabricator you will have:

• Have Mig welding experience (required)
• Be able to work from technical drawings (required)
• Competent forklift driver (required)
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a team
