Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our client’s team. The role involves welding and fabrication work to high standards, reading engineering drawings and preparing materials.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm and Friday 8:00am–1:00pm, with occasional overtime. The ideal candidate will have MIG/MAG welding skills and a pride in quality, capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a welding/fabrication role.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good MIG/MAG welding skills.

The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of welding and fabrication work, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with drawings and specifications.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a welding/fabrication role
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications or experience would be advantageous

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

Occasional overtime may be required depending on business needs
