Job summary

Ford & Stanley TalentWise is recruiting for experienced welders to join our Barton Under Needwood team on a 6-month contract. You will perform MIG, TIG and stick welding to repair and assemble rail components, working from engineering drawings with strict quality standards.

The role involves vertical and overhead welding with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Training will be provided to enhance specialist skills in a rail engineering environment.

MiG, TIG Welder

Pay: £17.00 to £18.20 per hour (£35,016.80 per annum)

Location: Barton Under Needwood

Contract: 6 months +

Are you an experienced Welder looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and specialist training provided?

We are currently recruiting for skilled welders to join a growing team, location is in Barton Under Needwood. This role offers the opportunity to work on rail industry components, carrying out high-quality welding and repair work on rail components.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out:

• MiG, TIG and stick welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
• Butt & Fillet Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
• Welding and repair of rail components
• Working to engineering drawings and quality standards
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements

What's on Offer?

• £17.00 for the first 12 weeks, rising to £18.20 per hour
• Equivalent annual salary of £35,016.80

Applicants should have:
