DCS Recruitment is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator in Burnley to join a growing engineering manufacturer. You will perform MIG/MAG and TIG welding, fabricate and assemble engineered products, and read engineering drawings to tight quality standards.

Skilled Welder / Fabricator

£33,716 – £45,260 + Overtime

We are looking for experienced Skilled Welder / Fabricators to join a growing engineering manufacturer. Due to continued expansion and increased customer demand, the business is looking to strengthen its welding team with skilled individuals who can produce high-quality work within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG/MAG and TIG welding
• Fabrication and assembly of engineered products
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Working to strict quality standards and procedures
• Maintaining product traceability and completing quality documentation
• Operating welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Working collaboratively within a production team

Key Skills

• Time-served Welder/Fabricator, apprenticeship trained, formally qualified or able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience
• Previous welding and fabrication experience within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative

Desirable Skills:

• Coded welding experience
• Pipe welding experience
• TIG welding experience
• Experience working with stainless steel
• Previous experience within a precision engineering environment
