Job summary

Ford & Stanley TalentWise is recruiting for experienced welders to join our Barton Under Needwood team on a 6-month contract. You will perform MIG, TIG and stick welding to repair and assemble rail components, working from engineering drawings with strict quality standards.

The role involves vertical and overhead welding with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Training will be provided to enhance specialist skills in a rail engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience welding in vertical and overhead positions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely and effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• MIG, TIG and stick welding (Vertical and Overhead positions).
• Butt & Fillet Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions).
• Welding and repair of rail components.
• Working to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements.
