Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced MIG Welder & Fabricator in the Tiverton area. The role focuses on MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel, reading engineering drawings, and producing to precise tolerances. Willand location with steady hours and overtime potential.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in a growing engineering business, working on both heavy and light steel projects. Weekend overtime and competitive pay are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy and light steel fabrication, with the ability to work with mild steel.
• MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Good understanding of reading engineering drawings.
• Competent in fabricating from engineering drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal, mild steel and stainless steel.

Our client is seeking an experienced MIG Welder & Fabricator to join a growing engineering business based in the Tiverton area.

The majority of the work involves mild steel, so proven fabrication experience in this material is highly desirable.

What We Offer

• £35,000-£39,000 salary.
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Plenty of overtime available.

• Saturday overtime paid at time and a half.

Key Requirements

• Experience with both heavy and light steel fabrication, with the ability to work with mild steel.
• Good understanding of reading engineering drawings.

• Competent in fabricating from engineering drawings.
• Experience with sheet metal, mild steel and stainless steel.
• Comfortable working on repetitive tasks.
