Job summary

Panda is seeking a Weighbridge Operator to help keep the site running safely, accurately, and compliantly. You’ll coordinate incoming and outgoing waste movements, record data, and work with drivers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure paperwork and compliance at every step.

The role focuses on operating the weighbridge (AMCS), capturing weights, and maintaining clear records, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to provide clear notes and accurate information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Organised approach to daily tasks and working with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and ensure information is captured accurately on systems.
• Enter vehicle details and weights correctly.
• Communicate with Yard Operations using two-way radio.
• Ensure compliance for waste transfer notes and licences checks.
• Liaise with Commercial & Compliance Team Leader and yard staff on correct processes.
• Assist with contaminated load reports and other required documentation.
