Taskmaster are recruiting a Transport Administrator to join our established recycling and waste client in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire. The role covers weighbridge operations, data input from vehicles, and ensuring documentation complies with Environmental Regulations.

You will respond to public and trade queries, maintain relationships with customers and client representatives, and uphold health and safety standards. Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm, £13.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Desirable: customer service background.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and IT skills; understand risk assessments / safe systems of work.
• Handles auditable information and maintains paperwork compliance.
• Experience with card payments from customers and public.
• Experience in dealing with customer complaints and escalating appropriately.
• Able to work effectively alone or as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Operate weighbridge and manage admin duties including recording weights and waste type per vehicle and completing documentation per Environmental Regulations.
• Input weighbridge data from vehicles into the system accurately.
• Respond to public, trade and other queries by phone or in person, with courteous communication.
• Maintain best operating relationship with the public, customers and client reps while ensuring Waste Acceptance Criteria is met.
• Ensure waste acceptance complies with Duty of Care and Special Waste Regulations where applicable.
• Perform routine computer and weighbridge adjustments as needed.
• Model adherence to procedures, policies, and systems among colleagues.
• Ensure site visitors receive Health & Safety induction and wear required PPE.
