Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operative for Hindlow Quarry to manage day-to-day weighbridge operations on site. You will ensure accurate weighing, recording, and processing of vehicles and loads, using the Genesys system, and maintaining proper paperwork and records.

The role requires coordinating with drivers, site staff, and customers, following health and safety procedures, and handling weighbridge administration efficiently on a busy site.

• Experience operating a weighbridge on a busy site.
• Familiarity with the Genesys weighbridge system.
• Good communication with drivers and site staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and record vehicle weights accurately.
• Process incoming and outgoing vehicles on the Genesys system.
• Check delivery and collection documentation for accuracy.
• Record waste and material movements clearly and accurately.
• Liaise with drivers, site staff and customers to resolve issues.
• Ensure paperwork and system records are complete and up to date.

We are currently looking for an experienced Weighbridge Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on a busy weighbridge and be familiar with using the Genesys system.

Location- Hindlow Quarry, SK17 9QD

The Role

As a Weighbridge Operative, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the weighbridge, ensuring vehicles and loads are accurately recorded and processed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights.
• Using the Genesys weighbridge system to process incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Checking delivery and collection documentation.
• Recording waste/material movements accurately.
• Liaising with drivers, site staff and customers.
• Ensuring all paperwork and system records are completed correctly.
• Following site health & safety procedures at all times.
• Dealing with general weighbridge administration and queries.
• Maintaining a professional and helpful approach when dealing with drivers and visitors.
