Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operative at our National Distribution Centre in Rotherham. You will receive, store and dispatch goods, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

You will handle picking, packing and stock checks, operate pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided), and collaborate with teammates to meet daily targets. Weekend shifts are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; accurate order processing.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch per procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (pallet trucks, forklifts—training provided).
• Maintain stock records, conduct cycle counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Help load/unload delivery vehicles and support daily targets.
• Report discrepancies, damages or safety issues promptly to management.
