Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our National Distribution Centre in Rotherham. You will ensure efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse while delivering accuracy and productivity.

The role requires ability to handle physically demanding tasks, good teamwork and attention to detail, with training provided for equipment operation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred but not essential.
• Ability to lift, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, nights and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming goods for quality and quantity.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch in line with procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (pallet trucks, forklifts).
• Carry out stock checks and maintain inventory records.
• Ensure a clean, safe and compliant warehouse environment.
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets.
• Report discrepancies, damages or safety issues promptly.
