Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Weekend Housekeeper to support ward environments during evening mealtimes and maintain high kitchen hygiene standards. You will serve meals, soups, and refreshments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to infection prevention policies.

The role involves cleaning tasks, paperwork, and collaboration with nursing and facilities staff to provide a clean, safe, and patient-centered environment across weekends in Sussex communities.

Responsabilidades

• Serve evening meals to patients, ensuring meals are delivered accurately and courteously.
• Complete the evening soup round, offering and serving soup to patients as required.
• Carry out the evening tea and refreshment round, ensuring patients have access to hot and cold drinks.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the ward kitchen and associated food preparation areas.
• Wash and store kitchen equipment, crockery, and utensils in accordance with hygiene procedures.
• Complete cleaning schedules and maintain records as required.
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including temperature checks, cleaning records, and food service documentation.
• Report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Adhere to all Trust policies relating to infection prevention, food safety, health and safety, and confidentiality.
• Work effectively with nursing, catering, and facilities staff to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to patients.
