Sussex Community NHS foundation trust is seeking a Weekend Housekeeper to cover Saturday and Sunday evenings. You will serve meals to patients, support soup and beverage rounds, and maintain ward kitchen cleanliness in a busy NHS environment across East and West Sussex.

The role requires good literacy and numeracy, reliability and the ability to work with nursing and catering teams to deliver a high-quality service while adhering to infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• GCSE Maths and English at C/4 or equivalent.
• NVQ Cleaning or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
• Basic Health and Safety certificate.

Responsabilités

• Serve evening meals to patients and ensure accurate, courteous delivery.
• Assist in preparing and serving soup during the evening rounds.
• Carry out the evening tea and beverage round for patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of ward kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Complete cleaning schedules and maintain records including temperature checks and hygiene logs.
